Why choose The garage?
Here at The Garage, I base the training off of the athlete's individual goals and standards. I understand that every athlete has different strengths, challenges, and training preferences. My goal is to work with each athlete to expand their personal repertoire and make the most of their sessions at The Garage. I never want anyone to stress about our workouts, I want to make a fun but hard working environment that each athlete can look forward to.
Quality Coaching
Fitness is my passion, and I want to teach and help guide as many others as I can in their own fitness journey. I not only want to run athletes through my program, I want them to understand the purpose of every exercise, so they can have a solid foundation for when they start training on their own.
individualized sessions
I understand that fitness is not a one size fits all process. I offer 3 main programs. I take great pride in being able to receive special requests and adapt my training to your individual sports/goals. Group sessions will consist of 3 or less people so I can spend time working with everyone.
FLEXIBLE SCHEDULING
I understand how busy life can get. Since it is a home based gym, I have a very flexible schedule compared to other larger courses/gyms. The Garage really is open around the clock.
secluded/private training
I understand the social anxiety some experience at a public gym when first starting. I can take that out of the equation. Anyone can join my gym, I train all skill levels. Plus, no more waiting for machines!
about me
My name is Ashton Kahn, I'm 18 and a NASM (National Academy of Sports Medicine) certified personal trainer. I'm a boxer, have competed in powerlifting, played hockey since I was 3, football since I was 5, ran track, played basketball, soccer and much more. I fell in love with training over quarantine, and have made it my personal mission to help others do the same. I'm a entrepreneur with big dreams, and hope to own my own gym one day. I truly am passionate about what I do. I believe personal health is the most fundamental thing you can learn in your youth. I not only want to train, but I aspire to be a mentor and help my athletes in all aspects of life. Please feel free to reach out to me with any questions or suggestions.
